B1390/S - Splendid Set 8 Vintage French Red & White Enamel Kitchen Storage Canisters,Tins

This is a splendid set of 8 vintage French enamelled kitchen storage jars, dating from the early to mid 1900's. They are in a stunning red and white combination and will look superb displayed on a shelf in either a vintage or hyper modern kitchen.

The storage jars are of different sizes and have lift off lids.  Each is labelled with it's requisite content :- Vermicelle, Sucre En Poudre, Sucre, Chicoree, Farine, Poivre and there are two Epices.

They make a very decorative set and are full of shabby chic charm. As one can expect after years of use there is some distressing to the enamel (please see photos) but this does not detract from either their charm or usefulness.

There are 3 of the largest jars and they measure :- 18 cm (7 inches) high x 12.5 cm (5 inches) in diameter.

The jars then graduate down in size to the smallest, of which there are two, and they measure :- 12 cm (4.75 inches) high x 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter.

The sizes are with the lids on.
