This is a superb antique French towel rail dating around 1900. It is a substantial example of it's type and would make a very stylish addition to a château chic salle de bain.

The glass rails are held in a stylish metal bracket which fixes to the wall. The rails are hinged with the bracket allowing them to angle as required.

The gilding on the bracket and the tips of the rails has worn a little with the passage of time but this does not detract.

The glass rails are in good antique condition with no chips or cracks. The bubbles in the old glass can clearly be seen.

The bracket has 2 slots and 4 holes for attaching it to a wall.

The towel rail when laid flat measures :- 47 cm (18.5 inches) wide x 18.25 cm (7.1 inches) high.
