B1514 - Divinely Pretty Antique French Glass Bon Bon / Trinket Dish,Toleware Base, 19thCThis is a divine antique French glass and toleware bon bon dish dating from the 1800's. It would also be superb for trinkets, perhaps on a dressing table in a château chic boudoir. The bowl is made in opaque glass and has a beautiful wavy edge. The glass graduates in colour from a pale turquoise to a deep turquoise at the edge. It is hand painted with lovely delicate flowers and leaves in pink, ochre, green and white. The glass bowl sits on a gilded toleware base with 3 wire feet. The dish has survived the years in wonderful condition. The glass is intact with no chips or cracks. It measures :- 17 cm (6.75 inches) in diameter x 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) high. A beautiful dish to hold bon bons or to display jewellery and another divine antique French brocante find from La Belle Étoffe. N.B. We have photographed it with a glass egg listed in our other items. The jewellery is for display purposes only.
