B1809 - Beautiful Antique French Wax Bud Marriage, Wedding, Bridal Couronne, Tiara, Crown

This is a beautiful antique French bridal couronne dating from the 19th Century. It  could now be incorporated into a modern day bridal ensemble to give 'the something old' finishing touch.

It is made of a stunning profusion of  wax buds and flowers all tightly wired together. It has 3 tendrils which elevate upwards to form a plume.

The crown is full and plumptious. It is in an atmospheric shade of antique cream.

It measures :-  8.5 cm (3.3 inches) high at the front. As it sits now the inside width is 16 cm (6.25 inches) & it is 18 cm (7.1 inches) from the inside of the front to the end of the tails. However as the tiara is wired it can be manipulated to fit most heads.  We have photographed it on an antique mannequin head.
