B2162 - Gorgeous Pair Antique French Two Arm Candle Girandoles, Candelabra With Crystals

This gorgeous pair of two arm antique French girandoles / candelabra would certainly add an authentic château chic finishing touch. They would look superb on a dining table and would add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a bathroom or a boudoir.

Each girandole sits on a round base and has a central glass covered column from which the arms branch to either side. Within the arms are 3 whorls of facetted crystals held on wire tendrils. There are 20 crystals on each girandole, most of which have rose buttons.

The girandoles are in sturdy antique condition. The wire tendrils have gained a certain eccentricity over the years but this just adds character to these lovely candlesticks.

The gilding on the metal has mellowed to a lovely antique patina and even has areas of verdigris..

Each girandole measures approx :- H 29 cm (11.4 inches) x  W 29 cm (11.4 inches). The bases are 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) in diameter.
