B2211 - Beautiful Set 10 Antique French Gilded Metal Curtain Rings, Bow Crest, 19th Century

This is a beautiful set of 10 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's.

They have an oval medallion embellishment with a gorgeous bow crest that will hang down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook. There are 2 small holes at the end of each medallion to enable the embellishment to be sewn onto the curtain for extra security.

The rings are all sturdy. One of the rings is a little misshapen but this does not affect it's useabilty.

The gilding on the metal has mellowed to a gorgeous antique hue that will look superb against period textiles.

Each ring including the embellishment measures 11 cm (4.3 inches) high x 3 cm (1.1 inches) wide.

The inside of the curtain ring itself measures 5.5 cm (2.1 inches) diameter.
