B1890 - Impressive Long Antique French Towel Rail With Glass Rail, Chrome Bracket, Circa 1900

This is an impressive antique French towel rail dating around 1900. It would make a stunning addition to a château chic salle de bain.

It is of simple design with 2 chrome plated brackets connected by a thick glass rod approx. 3 cm (1.3 inches) in diameter. The rod is nice and long to take several towels.

The towel rail is in good antique condition. The glass rail has one or two minor scuffs from years of use and the chrome plating has patinated a little (please see photos) but nothing to detract..

The backplate of each bracket has 3 holes for attaching it to a wall.

The towel rail measures :- 80.75 cm (31.75 inches) wide x 10.5 cm (4.1 inches) deep. The brackets are 5.75 cm (2.25 inches) in diameter.

This fabulous towel rail is from a carefully selected collection of decorative antique French pieces  from 'La Belle Étoffe'.
