B2074 - SOLD

This is a superb long and wide vintage French curtain to add a château chic finishing touch to a salon or boudoir. We also have a pair of curtains, B2073, in this fabric listed in our other items.

The textile is a damask in a beautiful shade of moss green. The damask has a gorgeous cherub, putti design.

The curtain is lined and is sewn at the top with a modern header tape. It has a seam 65 cm (2 ft 1.5 inches) in from the right hand side.

We have left the curtain as we found it. The bottom is unfinished and the sides are just tacked. There is a little damage at the bottom of the left hand side (please see photos). There is also some fading to the left hand side to about 30 cm (12 inches) in from the edge. The curtain has not been dry cleaned.

In our opinion however, the curtain is ready to hang as it is, as the overall effect is stunning, but with a little TLC it could reach it's full potential.

The curtain measures :- 287 cm (9 ft 5 inches) long x 196 cm (6 ft 5.1 inches) wide.
