B2184 - Superb Pair Vintage French Two Arm Acanthus Leaf Brass Candle Wall Sconces

This is a superb pair of two armed vintage French brass candle wall sconces. They would certainly add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a château chic interior.

They have a gorgeous scrolled acanthus leaf design and have a left and right configuration.

The two arms branch out from the backplate and have swirling leaf detail. The candle cups sit on decorative bobeche.

There is a hole on the back of each sconce for hanging on a wall.

The sconces are sturdy and substantial. The brass has an antique patina with a little verdigris in places. 

The sconces were once wired for electricity.

Each sconce measures approx.  :- 27 cm (10.6 inches) high x 28 cm (11 inches) wide x 13 cm (5.1 inches) deep.
