This is a superb pair of antique French curtain pole finials dating from the 19th Century. They would certainly add a château chic finishing touch to a curtain pole.

They are large and substantial (each one weighs nearly 0.5 kg). They are cast in metal with a swirling acanthus leaf design and have an antique gilded finish. 

They each have their original screw for fixing to a pole. One screw is slightly longer than the other but we have shown both finials successfully screwed into a pole.

Each finial measures approx:- 8.5 cms (3.3 inches) high not including the screw x 8.25 cms (3.2 inches) wide. The base plate will take a 4 cms (1.5 inch) diameter pole.
