B2177 - Superb Pair Antique French Cotton Toile Curtains, Drapes, Greek / Roman Motifs

This is a superb pair of long antique French curtains dating from the early 1900's. They ooze style and class and would certainly add an authentic château chic finishing touch to a salon or boudoir. 

The textile is a lovely crisp cotton toile with Greek / Roman motifs in shades of pink on a cream background.

The curtains are finished all round and have a fringed passementerie to the meeting edges and bottoms. They are not lined.

We have left the curtains as we found them. They have some fading to the textile and the passementerie at the leading edges. There are one or two faint sepia areas to the textile. There is a hole in the top left hand corner of the left curtain. None of this draws the eye or detracts from the splendour of these lovely old curtains which are in our opinion ready to hang. 

Each curtain measures :- 280 cm (9 ft 2.2 inches) long x 160 cm (5 ft 3 inches) wide.
